150mm Ceramic Abrasive Discs - Mixed Pack of 50
Qty:
These premium ceramic aluminium oxide abrasive discs last six times longer, allow dust to be removed 10 times faster and remain sharper for longer compared to traditional abrasive discs. This mixed pack of 50 discs contains 80, 120, 180, 240 and 320 grits. These sanding discs are suitable for use on a range of materials from hardwoods, softwoods, exotic woods, composite materials to metals or painted surfaces. The grit range is ideal for initial coarse sanding right up to finishing, and all discs have hook and loop type fastening and can be attached and re-attached as many times as necessary.
Renewable Cutting Edge
Ceramic aluminium oxide is the only abrasive material that fragments during use, in doing so it constantly renews its cutting edges meaning it stays sharper and cuts for much longer. The sharp points slice, rather than tear through material to produce an even surface finish. The edges of the ceramic aluminium oxide do not dull before they fragment, making it a tough and durable abrasive. Its ability to renew its sharpening edges coupled with its toughness ensure that the discs last up to 6 times longer than conventional abrasive discs.
Reduced Clogging
An open coat bond between the flexible base and the grit particles is used to allow optimal spacing between the particles for faster stock removal and reduced clogging. The grit particles are held securely in place by two layers of resin, this ensures they remain firmly bonded to the base for longer to increase the lifetime of the disc.
Efficient Dust Removal
The holes have been laser cut for accuracy and the spiral hole pattern works with the rotation of the sander to collect dust efficiently. The multihole design makes the discs universal as the holes do not require alignment. The base is flexible which minimizes cracking and loss of grit and features hook and loop fixings to secure the disc to your sander. The multihole design captures and removes dust up to 10 times faster than 5 or 6 hole discs, this increases the abrasive disc life because there is less waste material around that can be clogged. ©
